70th National Garment Fair


Dear Sir,

We would like to inform you that National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC), an ISO 9001-2015 Certified by Government of India Enterprise under Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), has uploaded on its Website the new Procurement & Marketing Support Scheme under which it will  provide Marketing Assistance to Micro and Small Enterprises to Participate in Fairs and Events such as 70th National Garment Fair being organised by the Association, to be held between 29th & 30th January 2020 at Bombay Exhibition Centre, NESCO Complex, Goregaon ( East ) Mumbai 400 063.

Kindly note that those Exhibitors who have already applied for Reimbursement under this Scheme in the 69th National Garment Fair held in July 2019 are not Eligible to apply for the Scheme if they are Participating in the 70th National Garment Fair. The entire Procurement & Marketing Support Scheme is enclosed herewith. The Salient Features of New Procurement & Marketing Support Scheme are given below :


Manufacturing Service Sector MSEs (Micro and Small Enterprises only) Registered at Udyog Aadhaar Memorandum (UAM) Portal.

The Scheme is not available for Traders and Medium Enterprises. In Readymade Garment Industry they have only allowed Garment Manufacturers and NOT TRADERS

There should be valid current B2B Subscription


The Unit will apply to their nearest Office of Development Centre (MSME)/SME division, Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), directly or through Implementing Agency Online / Offline, One month prior to the commencement of Trade Fairs / Exhibitions. After scrutiny of the Proposals, the Office of the NSIC will submit the Proposal at least 15 Days before the Event to the Empowered Committee for their final Approval.

While processing the Proposals, the preference shall be given to First time Participants and Units from Remote Area viz., from Aspirational Districts and also from SC/ST, Women, PH and NER. Approvals will be on First Come First Basis.

Also the Participant should not have applied for reimbursement in the financial year for a Fair organised by the same Organiser.  (Hence only those who had not applied for the reimbursement with NSIC for the 69th NGF can apply for the reimbursement of 70th NGF Expenses)

Please note that CMAI has no Role to play in this Scheme and is only Facilitating on behalf of its MembersReimbursement Approval and Disbursement will be at the Sole Discretion of NSIC and Ministry of MSME.

CMAI will only provide Guidance to its Members to Complete the Application.


Participation of Individual MSEs in Domestic Trade Fairs / Exhibitions across the Country:

 Eligible Items   Scale of Assistance
Space Rent Charges   80% of Space Rent paid for General category Units and 100% for SC/ST/women/NER/PH units Limited to Rs.30,000/= or Actual whichever is Less. The Space Rent will Subject to Minimum Booth / Stall Size provided by the Fair Organiser.
Contingency Expenditure   Expenditure like Travel, Publicity (Advertisement), Freight Charges (attach bills) Subject to Maximum Rs 15,000/= or Actual, whichever is less. One Representative from each Participating Unit may Travel limiting to AC II tier Train Fare /Economy Class Air Fare. Local Participants will be paid Rs 12/Km as Freight Charges ( Transportation of Goods charges) up to 50 Kms.
  A Micro, Small Enterprises (MSE) would be allowed Reimbursement for Maximum of 2 (Two) Events in a Financial year but not from the same Organiser and must submit their Claim in the Prescribed Format within 30 Days from Date of Conclusion of the Event.

Currently there exists an overall limit of Rs 15 Lakhs per Fair/Event and only 33 Units can apply to a Fair which will be considered on First Come First Basis.

4. Documents Required

All Documents need to be Self-attested with Company/Firm Stamp:

Documents to be filed by Unit Holders
  1. Duly Filled COMMON APPLICATION FORM for Space Booking for Participation in   International / Domestic Exhibition through NSIC
  2. On Unit Letterhead Application to Participate in Fair/Exhibition (Appendix A)
  3. Copy of PAN Card (Firms Pan card, In case of Proprietorship , Proprietors Pan card)
  4. Copy of Udhyog Aadhar Memorandum(UAM)
  5. Copy of Caste Certificate duly Attested by Notary
  6. Latest copy of Audited Financials with Schedule of Fixed Assets with CA’s stamp.
  7. Copy of latest Electricity Bill of the Unit Address mentioned on the Form (In name of Firm) (If Electricity bill is in name of Landlord then Agreement of Lease /If in Partners  Name then  Partnership Deed of the Firm clear Marking said Partners name).
  8. Details of B2B Membership alongwith DD for new subscription (Rs 7080/=)
  9. Cancelled Cheque.
  10. Company Profile with 5 Images of the Product sold.
  11. Copy of GSTIN Certificate
  12. Undertaking On Unit Letterhead
  13. Proforma Invoice issued by the Organiser in favor of “NSIC A/c Unit Name”.
Documents to be submitted by Exhibitor/Organiser (These Papers will be submitted by CMAI to NSIC, Navi Mumbai Branch)
  1. Brochure of Exhibition mentioning amount of Stall Rental of Minimum Size.
  2. Letter from the Organizer stating the Rate and Minimum Size of the stall (along with discount, if any).
  3. Organizer (Voluntary Organization(VD) Non- Government Organization(NGO) Registration with NITI Aayog Darpan Portal and that Registration Number should be mentioned in the event brochure/Profile/Invoice.
  4. Certificate of Incorporation/Registration Documents,
  5. Audited Balance sheet for last Three Years/Certified by C.A.,
  6. GSTIN Registration.
We request the Members who are Registered as Micro & Small Unit having a valid UAM Certificate and not applied for the scheme earlier may take Benefit of this Scheme.                                                

Eligible Members who would like to avail of the Market Assistance for the 70th National Garment Fair need to submit their Application for Reimbursement to the nearest National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) Office latest by 20th December 2019.
