Dear Members,

This is to bring to your urgent attention that through the recent Amendment carried out by the Govt of India in E-Way Bill (EWB) provisions contained in GST Rules, the Validity of EWB has now been Reduced basis the distance of travel as below: 

Earlier upto 100 kms – One day

Now changed to 200 kms – One day

i.e. Earlier for 800 kms distance, the EWB Validity was 8 days.  From 1st Jan 2021 the Validity will be only 4 days.

This change is made effective from 01-01-2021.
