A recent case has been reported by M/S B.S. Channabasappa & Sons Davangere, who has particularly requested that no Parcels should be handed over without prior checking with the Owner. Cir No. 33 / R-8 / 2021 dated July 3, 2021 both in English and Hindi versions sent by E-mail to all Members of the Association that the Association has received more Complaints of the same nature asinformed in our Circular No 31. The modus operandi apparently is that the Member gets a call from a Person pretending to be the Buyer, asking for Photographs of the Ready Stock Items on that Number. This would be followed up by an Order that is to be delivered to a New Shop Address by Bus. The whole transaction is a fraud. The Association, therefore, once again requested the Members to be extremely Cautious and not Entertain such Orders UNLESS VERIFIED BY THE SHOP OWNER.
