RENEWAL OF MEMBERSHIP OF THE ASSOCIATION
We would like to inform you that the Association has sent to Proforma Invoice dated April 1, 2021 to all Members, with a request to Renew their Membership of the Association for the Financial Year 2021- 2022.
Members are also requested to send the Copy of the GST Certificate to enable the Association to update their Records and issue the Tax Invoice, along with the Receipt for the Payment, which will be sent to the Members upon realisation of the Cheque.
Members can Renew their Membership by issuing Payable at Par Cheque/ Demand Draft or/ through remitting the Renewal amount through NEFT/ RTGS to the Bank as per the Details given in the Proforma Invoice.

CMAI’S 24TH IVY LEAGUE MEETING
The 24th IVY League Meeting (Breakfast Meeting) was held on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Orchid Hotel, Vile Parle (East), Mumbai.
The Topic for the Meeting was “Internal Audit System” by Mr Ram Agarwal, Chartered Accountant and Founder of RAMA Group.
Mr Agarwal made a Presentation on Internal Audit System and explained to the Members the Benefits of having such an Audit System in their Businesses.
The Presentation / Discussion, which was followed by a Q & A Session, was well received by the IVY League Members who attended the Meeting.

CONCILIATION & ARBITRATION SUMMARY REPORT FOR THE MONTH OF FEBRUARY 2021 & MARCH 2021
REPRESENTATIONS & CIRCULARS: AN APPEAL TO AVOID REIMPOSITION OF LOCKDOWN
We have made an Appeal to Shri Uddhav Thackeray, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Maharashtra against another full otherwise it could further cripple the financial health of the Garment Manufacturing units in Maharashtra. Similar Appeal also made to Shri Aditya Thackeray, and Shri Subhash Desai, Hon’ble Minister of Tourism & Environment and Hon’ble Minister of Industries respectively.
CIRCULARS:
Cir No 01/ C-2/ 21 dated April 5, 2021 sent to all Members in Maharashtra including Mumbai by e-mail, requesting them to follow the Norms by Offices and Manufacturing Units in Maharashtra including Mumbai and also highlighting the Portion of Norms relating to Manufacturing Units and that these Instructions are rigidly followed to avoid any further Government Action and help in stopping further spread of Covid-19.
Cir No 02/ O-2 /21 and Cir No 03 both dated April 6, 2021 sent by e-mail to all Members of the Association informing them that the Govt of Maharashtra vide its Order No DMA/ 2020/CR 92 / Dis M-1 dated April 4, 2021 directed all Private Offices except few Essential Services to Close till April 30, 2021 due to the Increasing Cases of Covid-19 Pandemic. As such, the Mumbai Office of the Association will remain Closed till April 30, 2021. Members were also informed that the Staff of the Association will be WORKING FROM HOME from today till April 30, 2021. In case they have any queries or need any assistance on any Subject, thy can send the same by E-mail to the concerned Department as per the E-mail ids given in the said Circular and they will be happy to assist them.
Cir NO 04/ C-2/ 21 dated April 14, 2021 sent by e-mail to all Members in Maharashtra including Mumbai informing them that the Govt of Maharashtra has announced a series of measures to contain the spread of Covid which has seen a huge spike recently . The Association’s interpretation of the measures relating to our Industry’s Manufacturing activities also given in the said Circular and requested them to RECONFIRM the Rules with the Local Authorities before Implementation.
