TO ALL MEMBERS OF THE ASSOCIATION:
Dear Sir,
Further to our Circular No 31 / R-8 / 2021 dated 2nd July 2021 on the above Subject, we would like to inform you that we have received more Complaints of the same nature.
The modus operandi apparently is that the Member gets call from a Person pretending to be the Buyer, asking for Photographs of the Ready Stock Items on that Number. This would be followed up by an Order that is to be delivered to a New Shop Address by Bus. The whole transaction is a fraud.
We, therefore, once again request our Members to be extremely Cautious and not Entertain such Orders UNLESS VERIFIED BY THE SHOP OWNER.
