Dear Members,
It is with a great deal of satisfaction and appreciation that the Ministry of MSME has finally accepted our request to include Wholesale Traders and Retailers in the definition of an MEME Unit.
This issue was very strongly taken up by CMAI jointly with RAI ( Retailers Association of India) since last year, and we are indeed grateful to the Hon’ble Minister for MSME, Shri Nitin Gadkari, for accepting our request.
We are enclosing herewith Office Memorandum dated 2nd July 2021 issued by the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises, Govt. of India for your Ready Reference.
