Dear Sir,
We would like to inform you that we have been informed by the Office of the Textile Commissioner, Mumbai that National Design Centre, New Delhi with the Support of the Development Commissioner ( Handlooms) are Organising the “ Mumbai Saree Festival “ a Special Marketing Expo exclusively for the traditional Indian Handloom Sarees at Nehru Centre, Dr Annie Besant Road, Worli Mumbai from 30th August 2024 to 5th September 2024.
The specific Objective of the Special Expo is to provide Comprehensive National & International Market Linkage to the Participating Weavers, SHGs, Co-Operative Societies & Products of Indian Handlooms. Approx. 70 Handloom Weavers, SHGs, Co-Operative Societies from all parts of the Country will Participate in the said Expo.
The Expo will also provide a thrust to the Sale of Traditional Indian Handloom Sarees and Sourcing destination for all Exporters, Buyers, Wholesalers & Customers to Source the Merchandise directly from the Producers. The Variety of Sarees include Venkatagiri, Uppada Silk, Mangalagiri, Tussar Silk, Kosa, Banarasi, Bujodi, Chanderi, Maheshwari, Cotton Sarees, Kota, Doria, Paithani, Jamdani , Kancheepuram, Pochampally, Patola, Sambalpuri, Mulbery Silk, Dhanakhali etc
