Cir No. 38 / T-3 / 202605th February 2026

TO ALL MEMBERS OF THE ASSOCIATION:

Dear Members,

As you are aware, The Textiles Committee is a statutory body established under an Act of Parliament in 1963 and functions under the aegis of the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India. The Committee is mandated, inter alia, to ensure the quality of Textiles and Textile products for both Domestic consumption and Export markets. Headquartered in Mumbai, the Textiles Committee operates through a robust network of 22 Offices across the Country, including 17 state-of-the-art Textile Testing Laboratories. Main functions of the Textiles Committee through four key verticals, namely Laboratory Services, Export Promotion & Quality Assurance (EPQA), Total Quality Management (TQM), and Market Research.

We have been informed by the Textiles Committee that it has introduced a new online facility on their official website, https://textilescommittee.gov.in, to help industry Members easily seek technical guidance and support for their operational issues.

To make their Services more accessible, they have developed a Technical Query Submission Module [https://textilescommittee.gov.in/industry-tech-issues/]. This feature allows users from any segment of the Textile Value Chain to submit their technical issues directly through a simple online form. Once a query is submitted, it is examined by the  technical team, and a suitable response is provided as early as possible. In addition, all submissions and subsequent discussions are moderated by the Technical Team to ensure relevance, accuracy, and professional conduct. The proposed solutions and responses are duly validated by subject-matter experts.

What this new facility offers:

Convenient online submission: No paperwork or formal letters are required—queries can be submitted anytime through the website.

·    Expert guidance: Queries are reviewed by specialists from the relevant technical divisions, ensuring that users receive accurate and helpful advice.

·    Clear and structured process: The form captures essential details, allowing us to understand the issue better and respond more effectively.

·    Open access for all industry members: The facility is available to organisations across the country, regardless of size or sector.

We are sharing this information with our member industries and encourage them to make use of this service. We believe this initiative will support Industry Members in resolving Technical difficulties more quickly and confidently.

If any Member would like a brief online demonstration or an orientation session  the same can be arranged for which you may contact Mr. Samuel, Quality Assurance Officer, Textiles Committee at [email protected] or on Mobile: 9833766479.

Thanking you,
